Datasym Territory Sales Manager – 2 Positions Open
Datasym POS Inc., a 25+ year top-tier manufacturer of Point-of-Sale terminals and software is currently seeking 2 high-energy professionals with outstanding interpersonal skills to sell our top of the line Point-of- Sale Equipment, Services and Solutions to an existing dealer network, new dealers and major account customers within a geographic territory.
As Sales Manager you will be instrumental in business development and client satisfaction in your defined geographic territory. As part of our team we will work collaboratively to enhance our customers’ experience and strategically meet well-defined objectives. As a result you will benefit with the ability to create higher than industry average income through our base plus commission plan.
There are 2 positions available: North East US Territory and South East US Territory
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed required sales targets
- Establish, maintain and manage effective business relationships with existing dealer base and capitalize on existing account control earned by these dealers
- Identify and recruit new dealers within the geographic territory
- Provide training, resources and tools to enable dealers to sell and support Datasym products and solutions to their customers
- Work closely with dealer sales representatives to identify and develop sales leads
- Identify and qualify Datasym solutions and services opportunities within major accounts based on an understanding of a major account organization’s business and strategic direction and profitability. Penetrate these accounts to sell Datasym POS solutions.
- Establish, maintain and manage effective business relationships at both functional and executive levels within direct major accounts
- Develop and manage a revenue pipeline
- Develop proposals and business cases for sales opportunities including financial analysis, cost/benefit assessment and ROI
- Provide reports to Datasym management as required
- Travel within the geographic territory (50% – 65%)
Skills and Qualities:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent strongly preferred with at least 5 years of proven Point of Sale sales experience.
- Knowledge of the Point of Sale industry, marketplace, trends and key indicators
- Established senior level contacts within the industry
- Highly developed selling, communication, customer relations, negotiating and decision-making skills, normally acquired through substantial industry experience
- Proven ability to deliver on aggressive individual sales quota, increase market share by acquiring net new customers, grow revenues in existing and new dealer accounts and existing and new major accounts
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Datasym internal support team to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Ability to prepare and deliver clear, effective presentations in a variety of formal settings at multiple levels within a customer’s organization
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office products and CRM
- The chosen candidates must reside within the geographic territory. Relocation is not provided.
